This fundraiser was created to raise money for those who lack access to clean and healthy food in the state of Michigan. In Michigan alone, over 1,000,000 people struggle to put food on the table and are unable to find affordable, healthy food options. Through Food Gatherers, we are able to feed Michigan families and fight food insecurity as a whole.

Please join us today by making a donation of any size to support your neighbors facing food insecurity. All donations directly benefit Food Gatherers, the food bank and food rescue program serving Washtenaw County for more than 30 years.  With their bulk purchasing power, they can really make your dollar stretch. ($1 = 2 meals!)

Our Mission: Food Gatherers exists to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community.

We rescue local food and leverage state and national food resources for hunger relief. We lead a network of hunger relief providers and engage the public in the fight against hunger. We create and sustain innovative new food programs in response to emerging needs. We recognize that hunger will not be solved through the provision of food alone, so we advocate for policies and system changes to create an equitable food system.
