A Message From Scarlett Roadrunners
Help FEED Scarlett Families and families in our community. Scarlett Student Council has teamed up with Food Gatherers to raise money to provide food to those who need it most!
The COVID-19 pandemic created a “perfect storm” of increased demand for food, declines in donated food, and
significant disruptions to volunteer programs, distribution methods, and other core aspects of the Food Gatherers
operating model.
Food Gatherers' network of food pantries, grocery distributions, and meal distributions throughout the
county is and will continue to be a critical resource for families, individuals, and seniors struggling with food insecurity.

Our Mission: Food Gatherers exists to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community.
We rescue local food and leverage state and national food resources for hunger relief. We lead a network of hunger relief providers and engage the public in the fight against hunger. We create and sustain innovative new food programs in response to emerging needs. We recognize that hunger will not be solved through the provision of food alone, so we advocate for policies and system changes to create an equitable food system.
