As many of us are feeling the strain of increased prices, these stressors are compounded for families who experience food insecurity. The Nutritional Sciences Student Association is proud to be collecting food and raising funds to help feed our community's families, children, individuals, and seniors. Please join us today by making a donation of any size to support your neighbors facing food insecurity. All donations benefit Food Gatherers, the food bank and food rescue program serving Washtenaw County for more than 30 years. Your donation of non-perishable food items is greatly appreciated! Please also consider making a monetary donation during our drive and let Food Gatherers do the shopping for you! With their bulk purchasing power, they can really make your dollar stretch. ($1 = 2 meals!)Thank you for your generosity!

In Support of Food Gatherers
Our Mission: Food Gatherers exists to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community.
We rescue local food and leverage state and national food resources for hunger relief. We lead a network of hunger relief providers and engage the public in the fight against hunger. We create and sustain innovative new food programs in response to emerging needs. We recognize that hunger will not be solved through the provision of food alone, so we advocate for policies and system changes to create an equitable food system.
