Our wish list is simple: no one goes hungry this holiday logo
Holiday wish lists are different for families facing food insecurity. For many of our neighbors, having a full cupboard is at the top of that list. This year, ending hunger is on Food Gatherers’ wish list, will you add it to yours?

Food Gatherers, the largest hunger-relief program serving Washtenaw County, is committed to providing groceries and meals to families facing hunger year-round, including during the holidays.

Unfortunately, hunger is on the rise. More people now rely on our network of partner pantries than during the height of the pandemic two years ago. Federal programs to address poverty and support food banks have expired, and high grocery prices make it difficult for those with limited budgets to afford their basic needs, let alone a warm holiday meal.

Will you help take food off wish lists and put it on tables in Washtenaw County? Click the donate button to help everyone have a full table this holiday.

In Support of Food Gatherers
Our Mission: Food Gatherers exists to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community.

We rescue local food and leverage state and national food resources for hunger relief. We lead a network of hunger relief providers and engage the public in the fight against hunger. We create and sustain innovative new food programs in response to emerging needs. We recognize that hunger will not be solved through the provision of food alone, so we advocate for policies and system changes to create an equitable food system.
