We are inviting our patients to join us in a non-perishable food drive. Every patient that brings items for our donation box, or donates online will be entered for a raffle for Michigan Basketball tickets! Here are some facts about the needs in our Washtenaw community:
This year, 42,450 residents may face food insecurity, including 6,090 children.
Due to the pandemic, more people than ever before are turning to food banks for help, many for the first time in their lives.
To meet the need, Food Gatherers is distributing record-breaking amounts of food through our 170+ community partners.
Your donation supports free grocery and meal programs serving children, families, individuals, and seniors in Washtenaw County.

In Support of Food Gatherers
Our Mission: Food Gatherers exists to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community.
We rescue local food and leverage state and national food resources for hunger relief. We lead a network of hunger relief providers and engage the public in the fight against hunger. We create and sustain innovative new food programs in response to emerging needs. We recognize that hunger will not be solved through the provision of food alone, so we advocate for policies and system changes to create an equitable food system.
