Help us set the table for families in need this Thanksgiving! LuxWall has partnered again this year with Food Gatherers, located in Ann Arbor, to support our Ypsilanti community. We are collecting non-perishable food items, personal care items, or if you'd prefer monetary donations to help local families.
There is a listing of most needed non-perishable food and personal care items posted in the lobby as well as a box to collect your donations. If you'd prefer to donate online, click on the “donate” button. If you'd prefer a cash or check donation, give it to Kristin Pafford. All checks should be made payable to Food Gatherers, with the memo line: LuxWall.
Together, we aim to stock community pantry shelves, ease the burden of holiday grocery costs, and share the kindness and generosity of our LuxWall team. Every donation, whether it's big or small, helps bring us closer to a community where everyone has a place at the table.
Thank you!
Kristin

In Support of Food Gatherers
Our Mission: Food Gatherers exists to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community.
We rescue local food and leverage state and national food resources for hunger relief. We lead a network of hunger relief providers and engage the public in the fight against hunger. We create and sustain innovative new food programs in response to emerging needs. We recognize that hunger will not be solved through the provision of food alone, so we advocate for policies and system changes to create an equitable food system.
