In FY2025, Food Gatherers had another record-breaking year. We distributed 10.3 million lbs of food to 60,000 neighbors facing hunger. We endured abrupt challenges and remained Washtenaw County's reliable food safety net, ensuring that children, adults, and seniors have access to the nutritious food they need for a healthy life. But the fight against hunger persists. Food costs are stubbornly high, eligibility requirements for SNAP will make it more difficult for people to get the help they need, and the impacts of the government shutdown are still affecting local families. With your support, we can make sure that our friends and neighbors don't go hungry.Click 'DONATE' to help meet the need right now, donate by phone at (734)761-2796, or mail a check to:Food GatherersPO Box 131037Ann Arbor, MI 48197Memo Line: WNL26
In Support of Food Gatherers
Our Mission: Food Gatherers exists to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community.
We rescue local food and leverage state and national food resources for hunger relief. We lead a network of hunger relief providers and engage the public in the fight against hunger. We create and sustain innovative new food programs in response to emerging needs. We recognize that hunger will not be solved through the provision of food alone, so we advocate for policies and system changes to create an equitable food system.
