What started in 1998 as an EWRE student–faculty challenge has grown into a full-department celebration (and healthy competition!) for the coveted Pork & Beans Trophy. Whether you’re a student, faculty member, or staff member, this is our chance to come together, have fun, and support an essential community partner, Food Gatherers. We will continue with our friendly competition of students vs. faculty+staff.

Let’s work together in hopes of setting a new record! Every can, every dollar, and every bit of CEE spirit counts.
In Support of Food Gatherers
Our Mission: Food Gatherers exists to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community.
We rescue local food and leverage state and national food resources for hunger relief. We lead a network of hunger relief providers and engage the public in the fight against hunger. We create and sustain innovative new food programs in response to emerging needs. We recognize that hunger will not be solved through the provision of food alone, so we advocate for policies and system changes to create an equitable food system.
