Each year, U-Con donates all proceeds from our auction to a selected charity.
This year we have selected Food Gatherers. Food Gatherers’ mission is to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community. This Ann Arbor-based charity rescues and distributes food, leads a hunger-relief network, develops innovative food programs, and advocates for systemic change to build an equitable food system. In addition to the auction proceeds, we encourage members of our community to make direct donations to Food Gatherers during this fund drive.
U-Con is a board and roleplaying game convention taking place annually in Ypsilanti, MI. Founded in 1989, U-Con is the longest running gaming convention in Michigan. The convention is run by a committee of volunteers in their spare time.

In Support of Food Gatherers
Our Mission: Food Gatherers exists to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community.
We rescue local food and leverage state and national food resources for hunger relief. We lead a network of hunger relief providers and engage the public in the fight against hunger. We create and sustain innovative new food programs in response to emerging needs. We recognize that hunger will not be solved through the provision of food alone, so we advocate for policies and system changes to create an equitable food system.
