  3. Honigman 2023 Virtual Food Drive
  • It is that time of year when we begin to think about everything for which we have to be grateful. Being grateful throughout the year, however, has tremendous benefits on our quality of life. Gratitude promotes health, improves our outlook on life, helps us handle stress, strengthens relationships, and promotes a balanced life.

At Honigman, we have a lot for which to be grateful. Our core values of respect, excellence, collaboration, and community create a positive environment to work in every day, and we can certainly have gratitude for that!

Our firm has a long history of supporting our surrounding communities and one of the ways we do that is through our annual firm-wide food drive. Expressing gratitude by "paying it forward" in this way makes a positive impact on the lives of children and families across our local areas.

Our virtual food drive will take place from November 6th through November 17th.

All donations will benefit Food Gatherersthe food bank and food rescue of Washtenaw County which has been feeding our neighbors for more than 31 years. As many of us are feeling the strain of increased prices, these stressors are compounded for families who experience food insecurity. Your support enables Food Gatherers’ network of food pantries and grocery distributions to meet these new challenges head-on and continue to be a critical resource for families and children in our community.  With their bulk purchasing power, they can really make your dollar stretch. ($1 = 2 meals!)

Thank you for fighting hunger where we live! Click on the DONATE button to give, or you can mail a check made out to Food Gatherers (please be sure to write "Honigman" on the memo line) and mail it to PO Box 131037, Ann Arbor, MI 48113.

In Support of Food Gatherers
Our Mission: Food Gatherers exists to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community.

We rescue local food and leverage state and national food resources for hunger relief. We lead a network of hunger relief providers and engage the public in the fight against hunger. We create and sustain innovative new food programs in response to emerging needs. We recognize that hunger will not be solved through the provision of food alone, so we advocate for policies and system changes to create an equitable food system.
