Join us for a free outdoor Gemily concert for children and the whole family! We'll be accompanied by members of our Good Mischief Band, Mike Morrison on drums and Eric Fithian on bass. If you would like, we are collecting cash or check donations at the concert, as well as non-perishable food items for donation to Food Gatherers, Washtenaw county's only food bank and food rescue program.

The economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic continues to have a significant impact on the demand for food resources in Washtenaw County. In the first six months of the pandemic, child food insecurity in our community doubled; today the rate is decreasing, but still remains 12% higher than before the pandemic. Now, almost two years into the pandemic, more of our neighbors, friends, and co-workers are relying on Food Gatherers to feed themselves and their families, and raising funds allows Food Gatherers to distribute more food in our community. Please consider making a monetary donation and let Food Gatherers do the shopping for you! With their bulk purchasing power, they can really make your dollar stretch. ($1 = 3 meals!)

To make a donation please click on DONATE or if you prefer, you may also give by calling 734-761-2796 or mailing a check (made out to Food Gatherers with "Gemini" on the memo line) to PO Box 131037, Ann Arbor, MI 48113. Thank you!

In Support of Food Gatherers
Our Mission: Food Gatherers exists to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community.

We rescue local food and leverage state and national food resources for hunger relief. We lead a network of hunger relief providers and engage the public in the fight against hunger. We create and sustain innovative new food programs in response to emerging needs. We recognize that hunger will not be solved through the provision of food alone, so we advocate for policies and system changes to create an equitable food system.
