The 4x4x48 challenge, inspired by retired Navy Seal David Goggins, is a challenge designed to raise money and awareness for a cause in need. Five Saline Cross Country Alum, our names are Chris, John, Matt, Simon, and Andrew, and we have decided to attempt this challenge as a way to collect donations for the Ann Arbor Food Gatherers. Although the pandemic is wrapping up and many of our lives are returning to normal, there is still a great need for the resources to combat food insecurity in Washtenaw County! To complete a 4x4x48, we must run 4 miles, every 4 hours, for 48 hours. This will be both a mental and physical challenge, but we are confident we will make it through with the support of our friends, families, and community.
