Leyla's birthday wish this year is to do something that improves the lives of people in her community (yeah, big plans for a 15 year old -- she's pretty wonderful). She loved being a part of the Community High School Food Gatherers event last Fall, and wanted to find a way to continue to bring food and funds into our local food bank after the holidays. So, from her birthday, Jan. 16th through Feb. 1, we will be collecting gifts of non-perishable food at our home (there'll be a donation box on our porch) OR you can make a donation in her honor through this fundraising campaign. Your gift will not only let her know you're thinking of her, but it will help to feed members of our community here in Washtenaw County!
