Paragon Sight & Sound Fundraiser For Food Gatherers

Paragon Sight & Sound Fundraiser For Food Gatherers

About This Campaign

Paragon Sight & Sound is partnering with Food Gatherers to make an end-of-year contribution to help end hunger and its causes in our community.

In May, Paragon worked with Uptown Coney Island to deliver five weeks of hot meals to local first responders. Now, as newly minted "Bread Winners," Paragon is committing a gift of $15,000 to Food Gatherers, and we hope you will join us with your own donation.

Food Gatherers was established in 1988 as Michigan's first food rescue program. Today, Food Gatherers is an independent 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization governed by a board of directors and operated by 30 staff people and 7,500 volunteers. In Fiscal Year 2019, they distributed 6.6 million pounds of food, the equivalent of 5.5 million meals, to our neighbors in need.

Our virtual fundraiser will run through December 31st. If you're not able to donate, please consider sharing our campaign to help spread the word. We wish you all a safe & happy holiday season!

Campaign to Support Food Gatherers

Our Mission: Food Gatherers exists to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community by: reducing food waste through the rescue and distribution of perishable and nonperishable food; coordinating with other hunger relief providers; educating the public about hunger; and developing new food resources.
