Ameriprise National Day of Service is Friday, November 6, 2020.

COVID-19 is increasing the number of individuals struggling with hunger.

Since 2010, the Ameriprise National Day of Service has brought employees, advisors and clients together to help end hunger in our communities. Did you know that hunger exists in every county in every state in the United States? In fact, prior to COVID-19, 37 million people (1 in 9 people) in the U.S. struggled with hunger. Due to the pandemic, high unemployment and systemic inequities, this number is estimated to reach 54 million people (1 in 6 people).

We are committed to helping our community by hosting a giving drive for the month of November 2020.

Our Mission: Food Gatherers exists to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community.

We rescue local food and leverage state and national food resources for hunger relief. We lead a network of hunger relief providers and engage the public in the fight against hunger. We create and sustain innovative new food programs in response to emerging needs. We recognize that hunger will not be solved through the provision of food alone, so we advocate for policies and system changes to create an equitable food system.
