Challah for Hunger is a Hillel student-run organization that typically bakes, braids, and sells challah to raise money and awareness for food insecurity both locally and nationally. However, due to the current public health state, we are unable to share our love for baking challah with the community in our usual fashion. Still passionate about giving back to the community, we wanted to create an opportunity to raise money and collect food for those who need it. In the spirit of high holiday giving, we are collecting donations (both monetary and in the form of nonperishable foods) to Food Gatherers, a local organization that we hold close to our hearts.
