  • Let's raise 1 million meals to fight hunger where we live!
You can help fill the plates of kids, adults, and seniors in our community this holiday season and beyond. Join Food Gatherers and ann arbor’s 107one for Rockin’ for the Hungry, our largest food and fund drive of the year! We’ll be “freezin’ for a reason” and broadcasting live on 107.1FM while collecting donations outside of the Maple Road Kroger store. When you make a gift of funds and/or non-perishable food, you help us reach our goal of raising 1 million meals for Washtenaw County residents who face food insecurity.

    Your gift matched!
Donate funds in person or online and your gift to Rockin' will be matched through the generous support of community donors.

In Support of Food Gatherers
Our Mission: Food Gatherers exists to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community.

We rescue local food and leverage state and national food resources for hunger relief. We lead a network of hunger relief providers and engage the public in the fight against hunger. We create and sustain innovative new food programs in response to emerging needs. We recognize that hunger will not be solved through the provision of food alone, so we advocate for policies and system changes to create an equitable food system.
