Thank you for Grillin' with us! Help us meet our Grillin' goal by making a donation above.

Grillin' is Food Gatherers' signature fundraiser. A staple event in the Washtenaw County community, this picnic hosts nearly 2,000 guests of all ages. Featuring live music, delicious food from more than 50 local restaurants, beer and wine, a food-inspired silent auction and kid's games - it's the best party of the year!

While Grillin' is a lighthearted, family-friendly event, its mission is serious: fighting hunger in Washtenaw County. It is a critical event in raising awareness and support for our food rescue and food bank program.

Thank you to our generous Grillin' Sponsors!

In Support of Food Gatherers
Our Mission: Food Gatherers exists to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community.

We rescue local food and leverage state and national food resources for hunger relief. We lead a network of hunger relief providers and engage the public in the fight against hunger. We create and sustain innovative new food programs in response to emerging needs. We recognize that hunger will not be solved through the provision of food alone, so we advocate for policies and system changes to create an equitable food system.
