Fundraising with Food Gatherers | Paragon Sight & Sound logo
As we did last year, Paragon Sight & Sound is partnering with Food Gatherers to make an end-of-year contribution to help end hunger and its causes in our community.

Entering 2022, Paragon is committing to another gift of $15,000 to continue our support of Food Gatherers at the "Bread Winner" level. We hope you will join us with your own donation.

Food Gatherers was established in 1988 as Michigan's first food rescue program. Today, Food Gatherers is an independent 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization governed by a board of directors and operated by 36 staff people and 7,500 volunteers. In Fiscal Year 2021, they distributed 9-million pounds of food, the equivalent of 7.5-million meals, to our neighbors in need. This was a significant increase from their pre-pandemic levels as more people in Washtenaw county struggle with food insecurity.

Our virtual fundraiser will run through December 31st. If you're not able to donate, please consider sharing our campaign to help spread the word. We wish you all a safe & happy holiday season!

Our Mission: Food Gatherers exists to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community.

We rescue local food and leverage state and national food resources for hunger relief. We lead a network of hunger relief providers and engage the public in the fight against hunger. We create and sustain innovative new food programs in response to emerging needs. We recognize that hunger will not be solved through the provision of food alone, so we advocate for policies and system changes to create an equitable food system.
