Join the Mast Shoes Team in a food drive to fight hunger in our community. From November 8 – November 30, 2019 Mast Shoes is hosting a benefit for Food Gatherers. Our goal is to raise 5,000 meals in November!

To participate, make a donation of $20 or more by November 30th and show your receipt at Mast Shoes and we’ll give you a pair of Smartwool socks (a $25 value). Alternately, you can bring your cash or check donation to the store, or at least $20 worth of groceries (from the most needed items list below)* to claim your free socks. Limit one pair of socks per person.

In Washtenaw County, 1 in 7 of our neighbors suffers from food insecurity. This means 6 in 7 of us can work to change this! We hope you’ll join the fight against hunger where we live.

$20 = 60 meals
1.2 lbs of food = 1 meal

Our Mission: Food Gatherers exists to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community.

We rescue local food and leverage state and national food resources for hunger relief. We lead a network of hunger relief providers and engage the public in the fight against hunger. We create and sustain innovative new food programs in response to emerging needs. We recognize that hunger will not be solved through the provision of food alone, so we advocate for policies and system changes to create an equitable food system.
